Step 1: Paint cutouts your way

1. Choose a palette (golden yellow → tangerine → magenta → plum).

2. Paint sky pieces first; blend where colors meet while wet.

3. Add silhouettes (trees/mountains) in deep tones for contrast.



Step 2: Prep the backing with Mod Podge


Apply a thin, even coat; wait 2–3 minutes for tack.



Step 3: Glue down the cutouts

1. Lay the horizon line pieces first to anchor your composition.

2. Work outward, pressing gently to secure.

3. Wipe away any squeeze-out immediately.


Step 4: Seal with Mod Podge

Thin sealing coat across everything; let dry 20–30 minutes. Add a second coat if desired.
